Here is why I think AI is a huge bubble;

1. Consumers refer to anything technical that seems like magic to AI.

2. Companies don't yet realize this, but a lot of people out there are tired of anything artificially generated (generative ai, what most people think ai is, e.g. like llms)

3. Pretty much all the ai companies founded in the last four years are trash, the founders are foolish and the only reason they are still around is because VCs keep throwing money at them.

4. It is overrated. Try using them for this, try using them for that. It turns out that it is in fact not as good as a lot of people say. (Yes, some people just use it wrong and therefore have wrong expectations)

5. A lot of the success is supposed to happen in the future. Like these companies actually becoming profitable, LLMs finally becoming more and more useful, ai in robotics and of course AGI

Yes ai is huge, yes it will change the world for the better, just not in the way most people think today. I am really looking forward to enjoying all the advantages it brings like curing diseases, but not having to think about ai all the time.

I think "Made by Humans" will become the ultimate luxury good

In the future, I think most products and services will be provided completly autonomously by machines, as the technology becomes cheaper and even better. But I think that humans will still want things made by humans, and I think this desire will increase as ai gets bigger and more powerful.

The ultimate luxury goods will be things made by humans. As we shift towards this future, I think the reputation of "Made in a certain country" is going to change. At the moment, I think "Made in Germany" and "Made in Switzerland" are at the top. When I look at manufacturing around the world, I think China will deservedly rise to the top, and "Made in China" should become the most respected Made in label.
